As part of our ongoing work in school to promote inclusivity and acceptance, we celebrated our second Pride month with a week of activities.
As part of our ongoing work in school to promote inclusivity and acceptance, we celebrated our second Pride month with a week of activities.
We held a ‘Rainbow Day’; where alongside class-based activities children dressed in the colours of the rainbow.
In the Junior School children loved using a variety of art media to create the different colours of the rainbow, signifying the importance of diversity. Everyone then gathered on the school field and took part in a ‘Mexican squeeze’ to demonstrate their love and care for one another.
Celebrating diversity and people’s right to live how they choose without discrimination, Pride Month promotes positivity and equal rights for all.
