Whole SchoolTop School in the North – Sunday Times ‘Parent Power’ League Tables 2025
Red House School has once again been named the top school in the North in our category in the 2025 Sunday Times ‘Parent Power’ League Tables. Additionally, we have risen two places nationally, now proudly ranked 5th in the United Kingdom.
Judged on over 2,000 schools across the UK, Parent Power is widely regarded as the most authoritative survey of the country’s best schools. It evaluates academic results as well as the performance of schools compared to others in the same town, local authority, and nationally.
Dr Rebecca Ashcroft, Head of Red House, said:
‘I am absolutely delighted that Red House School continues to be recognised as the top independent school in the North in the Sunday Times Parent Power 2025 League Tables. To have moved up two places nationally, now ranking 5th in the United Kingdom, is a reflection of the hard work and dedication from both our staff and pupils. We are also incredibly appreciative of the ongoing support from our parents.
We are extremely proud of our unique, family-oriented environment. As a smaller school, we are able to provide a tailored education, allowing each pupil to reach their full potential. This was evident in our exceptional GCSE results in 2024, where our grades 4-9 (C-A*) outperformed all local independent and state schools.’
Prospective families are invited to attend our upcoming Open Morning on Saturday 25 January. To book a tour, please contact Claire Bellerby, Head of Admissions:
